About Us

The Borders Model Boat Club is based in the Scottish Borders and welcomes all modellers, though our main interest is in boat modelling.  Members come from all walks of life, with main interests in model boats, model engineering, model aircraft, model railways, model vehicle and static display models.

Club members usually meet to sail boats on the first and third Sundays of the month throughout the year, (weather permitting) on Gunknowe Loch in Tweedbank, meeting at about 11.00am at the Loch, although dates are sometimes varied to take into account other happenings in the Borders area.
